Entered field in 1975 as Director of an Alcohol and Drug Dependency Charity based in Westminster. From 1982 developed own company offering awareness training and counselling back-up and referral service to industry, commerce, and the Civil Service .Treatment co-ordinator and sessional clinician Priory Hospital 1980 to 2006. Therapeutic Approach:
Usually the first session would involve taking a history, and discussing the presenting problem. Thereafter the focus would be person centred, building self confidence, esteem, and belief, enabling the client to make more helpful and positive decisions. The aim would be to assist the client to be better able to cope and manage their emotional life, and process any necessary change. The use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques would be involved. The therapy is strictly confidential.

Fees:
Normal fees range from £75.00 to £125.00. Depending on circumstance a suitable fee could be negotiated.
