Exams are something which punctuate all of our lives at some point. Where you are just starting out in Year 7, or about to finish at Trafalgar having completed your GCSE exams or even a member of staff or a parent trying to gain new skills, we all need to have coping strategies so that we show our best possible self in our exam preparation and subsequent results.

Exams are quite stressful but with thorough preparation and a positive mindset you can make them as trouble free as possible. Always remember however that even if something goes wrong on the day, there are many different ways that you can rescue it. Just be confident that you have prepared your best and that you know what you need to do in the exam itself. Believe in yourself and do not put a lid on your expectations. Don’t forget to talk to a member of staff if you need support or if you are struggling with your wellbeing as you approach exams.

For Year 11 students we run a series of exam stress busting sessions.  See Mrs Faulkner if this is something you might benifit from.  You can always click on the links below for some advice and self-help.
